Game Reserve has come under pressure from the surrounding Zulu communities.
The farmers don't understand why there is sufficient grazing ground in the park,
while their own cattle can hardly find enough food in the overgrazed plains
of the former homelands. The park authority has found a compromise: Part of
the reserve is now accessible to the Zulu
communities, and in return their settlements are - for an entrance fee - open
to visitors who want to see Zulu village life at close range.
