The St Lucia enclave within the World Heritage Site presents the entire range of accommodation options - from back-packer to ultra- luxury - and while the approach from Mtubatuba is breathtaking, nothing compares to views of the surrounding magic from the village itself.

A nearby
attraction is the Crocodile Centre that features a breeding programme for
two endangered African species - the dwarf and long-snout crocodile.
Mission Rock is a popular outdoor picnic spot some 15 kms north of St
Lucia village.
Most of the B&B's in St Lucia will arrange activities for their guests. Let you hosts arrange a guided tour of the Wetlands Park. This is by far the most amazing experience in the area. Also the boat trip up the St Lucia Estuary. It may be a bit touristy but is still worth spending the hour there and learning about the Estuary ecology.
